Aims of ADECK:

Maintain a financially independent
and potically neutral position

Promote the economic development
of Curaçao, in particular the interests of its small entrepreneurs

Strengthen the position of
small entrepreneurs by trying to obtain direct and concrete
advantages for its membership

Stimulate small entrepreneurs
to develop and grow their enterprises and to initiate new economic activities,
applying, among others, the concept of re-education and training
-
Stimulate cooperation among
small entrepreneurs
-
Render advise and support
to small entrepreneurs and to assist them to apply a more professional
approach to the operation of their enterprises.

Guide small entrepreneurs
to become more professional managers

Make the government more
conscious that it must seriously consider small enterprises in its macro-economic
policies.
ADECK will achieve its goals by:

organizing lectures, courses
and seminars on a regular basis, on current topics which are of interest
to small entrepreneurs
-
initiating and supervising
studies in those area of interest to the Small Entreperneurial Sector on
Curaçao; the basic purpose of these studies is to stimulate,
support, help and advise
-
providing the necessary information
and assistance to those interested in starting their own small enterprises
-
providing advise to small
entrepreneurs and, when necessary, cooperate with other
professional institutions to provide such advise
-
representing the (small)
Entrepreneurial Sector when decisions oncerning or effecting them
have to be made.
